New book: Communities of Care in Migration

The Networks of Care project lead, Dr Leah Williams Veazey, has published a new edited collection with US-based academic, Professor Valerie Francisco-Menchavez.

Entitled Communities of Care in Migration, the book examines the ways in which migrants care for each other, drawing attention to the often-unrecognised labour of care given and received between migrants. Chapter authors include emerging and senior scholars, as well as community organisers and practitioners from migrant-focused NGOs.
